Proper mitigation techniques can be done a few different ways depending on the layout and construction of your home. Sealing the cracks and openings around the soil of your home are essential to keep the radon from seeping in. The radon builds pressure below the foundation of your home. Adding a ventilation pipe under the foundation to the exterior will depressurize this build up. An external fan will keep the air flow moving from below the home to above and outside. This should alleviate the build up of radon below and inside your home. Follow up testing is always recommended every 2 years to make sure the system working properly. Our mitigators are highly trained and we are a licensed building contractor as well. All work will be professional and will not interfere with the aesthetics of your home.
